Meet Your Chiropractor / Kelli
Dr. Kelli-jo Richard was born and raised down the road in Eunice, LA. She graduated from Louisiana State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in 2014 and went on to attend Parker University in Dallas, TX. She completed her clinical internship serving veterans at the Martinsburg VA Hospital in West Virginia and graduated in 2020 with her Doctorate in Chiropractic. She furthered her understanding of the nervous system by achieving a master’s degree in Neuroscience in 2020.
Her pursuit to become an expert in family wellness included over 200 hours of intensive prenatal and pediatric specific coursework. She is Webster Certified and CACCP (Certified by the Academy Council of Chiropractic Pediatrics) by the ICPA.
Dr. Kelli has returned home with a vision to grow alongside this community and to guide families on their way to optimal health. Her sincerest hope is for you to become an active participant in your wellbeing—listen to your body, ask questions, be heard, be well.
Fun Fact!
Dr. Kelli’s first adjustment was in chiropractic school! She initially pursued the profession because of its unique, holistic approach to pain relief but quickly began to realize that chiropractic offered much more. Now, above all else, she respects the brain-body connection and its capacity for self-healing and adaptation.

Born and raised right here in Erath, Louisiana, Amelie graduated from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in 2023 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology, concentrating in Health and Wellness Promotion. She's currently pursuing her Master's in Public Health at LSU Shreveport and is expected to graduate in December 2025.
But here's what really matters: Amelie is the heartbeat of our practice. She's the one who will greet you with a genuine smile, manage your schedule with care, and perform your INSiGHT scans with precision. She's thoughtful, intentional, and creates a space where every family feels at home.
Having spent most of her adult life working with little ones, Amelie has a natural gift with children. She knows how to create calm in chaos, how to connect with little ones on their level, and how to make nervous parents feel seen and supported. Whether your toddler is mid-meltdown or your baby needs a familiar face while you're being adjusted, Amelie's got you covered.

Adult Chiropractic
TRC’s holistic approach to chiropractic includes an assessment of the body’s individual systems to determine how effectively they are working together. Nervous system-focused chiropractic addresses areas of the body that aren’t effectively communicating with the brain via specific spinal adjustments. When that communication is restored, your potential is endless! Chiropractic can alleviate pain and symptoms, but most importantly, it increases your overall function. Pediatric Chiropractic
Both mom and baby experience the stress (and sometimes trauma) of birth, which is why we believe every child deserves a healthy start in life. Consistent chiropractic care maintains and supports the integrity of the nervous system. Well-adjusted kids grow into healthy adults who function and live at their highest potential. They thrive mentally, physically and socially due to an increased awareness of themselves & the environment around them. These kiddos can better adapt and overcome when faced with stressors like injury, illness, toxins, emotional stress, etc. Chiropractic adjustments for infants and children of all ages are safe, gentle, & specific.
Prenatal & Postpartum Chiropractic
Preparing for and recovering from birth is a huge, magnificent life event and should be treated as such! You can walk into motherhood feeling joyful, comfortable and confident when there is connection—within yourself and with your baby! Chiropractic care throughout pregnancy facilitates the brain-body connection with specific spinal adjustments.
We are certified in Webster Technique, a specific analysis and adjustment of the pelvis used to facilitate pelvic balancing and optimal function. We look forward to serving you and your growing family!
Pricing
Adult/Pediatric/Prenatal First Visit + INSiGHT Scans - $150 ($75 non-refundable deposit due upon booking)
This appointment is mandatory for new practice members who have never been to our office. At this visit we will discuss your health goals, perform a neurologically based examination including Insight Scans, and you will receive your first adjustment (unless further imaging/testing is warranted).
We encourage whole family care so when your family begins care together, you save!
Schedule initial visits at the same time and receive:
$25 off the first two family members’ initial visits
$50 off each additional family member’s initial visit
(Applies to spouses, partners, and kids in the same household)
Restorative Care (the initial phase of care)
While we would love to achieve your goals and heal your nervous system with a single adjustment, the nervous system needs time and repetition to break old patterns and rebuild new functional patterns that support a state of health. The goals during this time are to improve neurospinal function, reduce stress patterns, and restore/promote health and growth!
Most of our members choose to pay in full or set up a payment plan for this phase of care. Depending on the results from your progress scan(s) and recommendations from our doctor, it is common for our practice members to transition to wellness care, which will be a discounted price per visit.
Single Restorative Visit-$65 (available for purchase after initial visit)
This appointment is for current practice members who are not taking advantage of our more affordable plans or packages.

Once you schedule your new member appointment here, you will receive an email with the necessary paperwork to complete online before your visit. This allows the doctor to review the information thoroughly, so your consultation and exam is as detailed and efficient as possible.
For your first visit, Dr. Kelli will sit down with you to discuss your health history, challenges, questions and goals for you or your family. Following the consultation, we will do an examination to evaluate and assess nervous system function, which includes a series of 3 non-invasive nervous system scans (scans will require access to the skin along the spine, so the patient will be gowned).
Your initial visit will last 50-minutes and consists of a detailed consultation, examination, Report of Findings & adjustment.
Dr. Kelli will then go over your history and exam findings (ROF) with you and discuss any questions/concerns including:
What did we find?
What do the findings mean?
What is my suggested care plan?
How much?
Finally, if you choose to accept care with TRC and your history/exam findings do not warrant a need for additional imaging/tests, you will receive your first adjustment!

The Reservoir Chiropractic does NOT accept insurance because we don’t want insurance dictating the care we provide. Insurance companies are centered around treating the effects of disease and injury rather than preventative or wellness care. They were designed for the conventional model of health care, which generally addresses symptoms with drugs and invasive medical interventions.
Nervous system-focused chiropractic care aims to advance health rather than lessen sickness. Thus, the insurance model is not in alignment with our values, nor does it improve our practice members’ experience. However, if you do have insurance that covers chiropractic care and are willing to file yourself, we will happily provide you with the necessary documentation for reimbursement.
We do accept HSA and FSA.

Depending on each patient and their specific needs and/or desires, a variety of techniques can be used to deliver a nervous system-focused adjustment including Diversified, Thompson Drop, Activator, MC2, & Webster Technique.

As many of our practice members are expecting mamas and kiddos, we do not take X-rays in house. However, after a thorough examination the chiropractor will determine whether X-rays are medically necessary based on current evidence-based guidelines. If so, you will be referred to a trusted provider for imaging prior to your first adjustment.

Chiropractic care does not treat specific conditions. Rather, it helps to restore normal physiological function by reviving your own healing abilities.
We recognize that signs and symptoms are simply expressions of the communication between the nervous system and all the body’s other systems — circulatory, digestive, excretory, hormonal, glandular, immunological, muscular, reproductive, respiratory, and skeletal. Effective communication between these systems depends on optimal nervous system function.

There is a $75 non-refundable deposit for initial consultations. Payment of the deposit must be made for the appointment to be booked. This deposit will be applied towards the total cost of your first visit. For established practice members, a credit card will need to be kept on file.

We recognize that life happens, and situations may arise where you need to cancel your appointment or reschedule. However, your appointment time is reserved just for you and/or your family members so please if you can’t make it or need to reschedule, we ask that you provide 24 hours notice. This allows us serve other practice members during that time slot and keeps our practice running smoothly.
If you cancel or reschedule before your appointment’s 24-hour window, there will be no charge.
Cancellations and no-shows made less than 24 hours from your appointment time will be charged $20.

Good Faith Estimate Notice
As outlined in Section 2799B-6 of the Public Health Service Act, we are committed to providing transparent cost information to all patients, particularly those paying out-of-pocket or choosing not to use insurance coverage.
What This Means for You
Federal law requires healthcare providers to offer clear pricing information before you receive care. If you're not using insurance for your visit or services, you're entitled to receive an estimate of what your care will cost.
Your Rights Include:
Advance Cost Estimates: You may request a Good Faith Estimate that outlines the anticipated total cost for any planned, non-emergency care, including all related services and fees.
Written Documentation: We will provide this estimate in writing at least one business day prior to your scheduled appointment. You're also welcome to request this information at any time during the scheduling process.
Billing Dispute Process: Should your final bill exceed your Good Faith Estimate by $400 or more, you have the right to challenge the charges through the dispute resolution process.
Documentation: We recommend keeping a copy of your Good Faith Estimate for your records.
